Cultivating Egypt's Western Desert

After exiting the real estate sector, Yasser Montasser Companies (YMC) identified a promising opportunity in Egyptian agriculture. YMC applied for 1,000 acres of rural land in Western Minya and secured a total acquisition of 904 acres under Al Iman & Al Taqwa for Land Reclamation.

The land was officially received in January 2024. Within a remarkably short timeframe, significant progress was achieved in agricultural infrastructure: five wells were drilled, solar power systems were installed to support irrigation requirements, and by November 2024, six pivot irrigation systems covering approximately 500 acres were successfully cultivated with sugar beet.

Current efforts are focused on reclaiming the remaining land to enable full-scale cultivation in the next phase.

Our Operations

What We Grow & How We Work

Modern large-scale agriculture powered by renewable energy and precision irrigation.

Sugar Beet Cultivation

Six pivot irrigation systems covering approximately 500 acres actively cultivated with sugar beet since November 2024. High-yield crop suited to Western Minya's soil and climate conditions.

Solar-Powered Irrigation

Solar energy systems installed across the farm to power the irrigation infrastructure, reducing operational costs and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.

Pivot Irrigation Systems

Six center-pivot irrigation systems deployed across the cultivated area, enabling efficient water distribution over large acreage and supporting consistent crop yields.

Land Reclamation

Active reclamation of the remaining approximately 404 acres of desert land in Western Minya, preparing for full-scale cultivation in the next agricultural phase.

Water Infrastructure for Agricultural Growth

Professional well-drilling services are a core part of the Al Iman & Al Taqwa operation. Five wells have been successfully drilled on-site in Western Minya to supply the irrigation network powering 500+ cultivated acres.

The well-drilling capability supports not only the current agricultural operations but also future land reclamation phases, ensuring reliable water access as cultivation expands across the full 904 acres.
